Our donor, supporters and prayer partners [hereafter supporters] are a key and valued part of the work that we do. We believe that the relationship with our supporters is a two way relationship and therefore regular information and contact is part of that relationship. Champions 4 Christ does not collect any credit / debit card information. All credit or debit card details are entered directly into the PCO Giving System and never stored or recorded in any of our own systems.

This information can include, but is not limited to: your browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by Champions 4 Christ for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Champions 4 Christ web site.

 

How do we collect Personal Information


The information on each of our supporters is provided directly from them. This can be, but is not limited to:

  • by signing up for more information at a Champions 4 Christ exhibition stand
  • by donating via our web site, over the phone or in a meeting where Champions 4 Christ is featured.
  • by using any of our Champions 4 Christ web sites and online services
  • by volunteering or accepting employment with Champions 4 Christ 

Where supporters show a legitimate interest in our work and ministry we want to facilitate keeping each one informed.

Champions 4 Christ collects and uses your personal information to deliver the services our supporters have requested and to operate the Champions 4 Christ Web site. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Keeping supporters informed about the work of Champions 4 Christ including news, prayer requests and special activities.

  • For processing the monthly donor payment and any other donations
  • For marketing purposes we may contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services or mission projects.

  • To keep track of the web sites and pages visited within Champions 4 Christ in order to determine what services are the most popular; to then deliver a customized content and advertising to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

Champions 4 Christ does not sell, rent or lease its supports personal information to third parties. Champions 4 Christ does not use or disclose sensitive personal information such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

Champions 4 Christ may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. How long we keep your Personal Information


Champions 4 Christ will keep your personal information only as long as needed and/or required in accordance with statutory requirements. If you have donated we will need to keep your information on record for accounting purposes over a certain time span (for example HMRC requires to keep a record of donations for six years). Hard copies and sign up information will be kept securely during this time. When the information is no longer required, we will dispose of it in a secure manner.

 

What you can do


According to the General Data Protection Regulation you can request the following:

  • To be informed about all of the personal information Champions 4 Christ has on file about you
  • To have your personal information fixed and/or updated
  • To ask for the source where your personal information was obtained
  • To request the removal of your personal information from our systems (please be aware that some information need to be on file for certain time periods due to country specific laws, rules and regulations)
  • To not be contacted anymore or to be taken of the mailing list
